Food special – Louisiana

Hey y’all,

Boy am I lagging today! We spent last night dancing our tush’s off at a honky tonk in Gruene. It was out-of-this-world fun and possibly the most awesomely authentic Texan experience we’ve had so far.

Gruene Hall (built in 1878) is Texas’ oldest continually operating and most famous dance hall and last night it was filled to the brim with locals with their big hats, big belts and boots, two-steppin and swing dancing. So-amazing.

Anyway, the most I was capable of this morning was this food special from our recent trip to Louisiana. Dave reckons it’s one of my best pages yet (isn’t that the case when you’re exhausted and think you’re putting little effort in and then it works out well?!).

Anyhoots, to check it out click here or go to the food tab and click on ‘A Taste of Louisiana’.
